1. Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to ScholarScreen (scholorscreen.com). By accessing, browsing, purchasing access codes, or submitting manuscripts to the ScholarScreen engine, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and our associated Privacy Policy, Academic Disclaimer, and Refund Policy.

If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use our services. These terms apply to all visitors, registered users, researchers, students, and institutions.

2. Description of Services & Zero-Vault Architecture

ScholarScreen provides on-demand computational academic screening, including multi-layer similarity detection (TSI), paraphrase identification, and AI stylometric probability analysis.

The Zero-Vault Ephemeral Model: Manuscripts submitted to ScholarScreen are processed exclusively in isolated edge memory. To enable authors to inspect sentence highlights, cross-reference discovered literature, and export official verification certificates, screening evidence is held in temporary encrypted cloud storage for 24 hours, after which it is permanently purged. Authors retain the right to trigger immediate, permanent erasure at any time via the report console. Manuscripts are never added to public reference repositories, never sold, and never utilized to train AI models.

3. User Submissions & Intellectual Property

You retain 100% ownership and copyright of all documents, drafts, abstracts, and manuscripts submitted for screening. ScholarScreen claims no proprietary rights or license over user research.

You represent and warrant that you possess the lawful right to submit the document for analysis and that your submission does not infringe upon any third-party trade secrets or statutory copyrights.

4. Pricing, Payments & Razorpay Processing

ScholarScreen offers transparent pricing plans for individual researchers, authors, and educational institutions:

• Student Plan: ₹99 INR (Single-use high-precision forensic screening code)
• Author Pack: ₹499 INR (6 Comprehensive Multi-Layer Screenings via 6 independent codes)
• Campus Pro: ₹49,000 INR (Annual institutional license with Institutional Master Key)

All financial payments are securely processed through Razorpay over industry-standard 256-bit TLS encrypted channels. ScholarScreen does not hold or store sensitive debit/credit card credentials, netbanking pins, or UPI passwords. Prices are listed in Indian National Rupees (INR).

International Cards & Currency: International scholars may checkout via Razorpay using international cards. The cardholder's bank converts the transaction to local currency according to their prevailing exchange rates and cross-border card rules.

Chargebacks & Cryptographic Audit Trail: Each document screening generates an immutable cryptographic ledger entry recording the manuscript SHA-256 hash, execution timestamp, client IP location, and forensic certificate. In the event of an unjustified chargeback or payment dispute filed after services have been rendered, this verifiable cryptographic audit trail is submitted to acquiring banks and card networks as definitive legal proof of fulfillment.

5. Access Codes & Account Responsibility

Upon successful transaction completion, access codes are dispatched immediately to the email address provided at checkout. Each code functions as a cryptographic bearer credential. You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your access codes. ScholarScreen is not liable for unauthorized use resulting from user disclosure.

6. Consultative Nature of Academic Metrics

ScholarScreen produces mathematical similarity indices, citation cross-references, and stylometric AI probability scores. These metrics are strictly diagnostic tools designed to aid human supervisory, editorial, and academic judgment.

Final determination regarding academic integrity, ethical attribution, or original scholarship rests exclusively with qualified supervisory faculty, university thesis committees, and journal editors.

7. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

• Attempt to decompile, reverse-engineer, or disassemble any portion of the ScholarScreen pipeline.
• Use automated bots, scrapers, or crawlers to flood or disrupt server infrastructure.
• Circumvent or tamper with rate limits, code quotas, or cryptographic PDF verification seals.
• Transmit malicious code, viruses, corrupted document payloads, or illegal content.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ScholarScreen and VibeMantra Studio shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising out of your access to or inability to use our services, including academic disputes, submission deadlines, thesis evaluations, or institutional grading outcomes.

In no event shall the total aggregate liability of ScholarScreen, its operators, or affiliates arising out of or related to these Terms or the services exceed the actual fee amount paid by the customer for the specific screening transaction giving rise to the claim.

9. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms and any disputes arising out of or related to our services shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the substantive laws of India, without regard to conflict of law principles. The competent courts of India shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any legal proceedings.
